This is a larger piece in 'letterbox' format. I sometimes think about stories of thunderbirds in my reserve, and I thought about how thunderbirds would look near a city.

* This is my homage to Frida Kahlo. I saw her art exhibit at the Walker Art Gallery in Minneapolis this Christmas. I wrote a poem called 'Ahkee', and I decided to paint around the poem.
